Genesis 6:6

New International Version

⁶The Lord regretted^(A) that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.

⁶And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

⁶And ^(A)the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and ^(B)He was grieved in His ^(C)heart.

¹⁴Then the Lord relented^(A) and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened.

¹⁴And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

¹⁴So the Lord ^(A)relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people.
