²³ Thus He blotted out ^[a]every living thing that was upon the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the ^[b]sky, and they were blotted out from the earth; and only ^(A)Noah was left, together with those that were with him in the ark.

¹⁰ Now behold, the Lord has let me live, just as He spoke, these forty-five years, from the time that the Lord spoke this word to Moses, when Israel walked in the wilderness; and now behold, I am eighty-five years old today.
