Genesis 7:3-5

English Standard Version

³and seven pairs^[a] of the birds of the heavens also, male and female, to keep their offspring alive on the face of all the earth. ⁴For in seven days ^(A)I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, ^(B)and every living thing^[b] that I have made I will blot out from the face of the ground.” ⁵^(C)And Noah did all that the Lord had commanded him.

³and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive^(A) throughout the earth. ⁴Seven days from now I will send rain^(B) on the earth^(C) for forty days^(D) and forty nights,^(E) and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.^(F)”
