Abram Journeys to Egypt

12 Now ^(A)the Lord said to Abram,

⁵ And He took him outside and said, “Now look toward the heavens and ^(A)count the stars, if you are able to count them.” And He said to him, “^(B)So shall your ^[a]descendants be.”

¹⁰ The Lord your God has ^(A)multiplied you, and behold, you are this day like the stars of heaven in number.

²⁴ “Son of man, they who ^(A)live in these ruins in the land of Israel are saying, ‘^(B)Abraham was only one, yet he possessed the land; so to ^(C)us who are many the land has been given as a possession.’
