¹¹ The angel of the Lord said to her further,

⁴² If ^(A)the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the fear of Isaac, had not been for me, surely now you would have sent me away empty-handed. ^(B)God has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, so He ^(C)rendered judgment last night.”

⁷ And the Lord said, “I have certainly ^(A)seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their outcry because of their taskmasters, for I am aware of their sufferings.

³¹ So ^(A)the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord ^[a](B)was concerned about the sons of Israel and that He had seen their affliction, ^(C)they bowed low and worshiped.

⁷ Then ^(A)we cried out to the Lord, the God of our fathers, and the Lord heard our voice and saw our wretched condition, our trouble, and our oppression;
