²⁴ Then out of the sky the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah burning sulfur from the Lord.^(A)

²³ All its soil will be a burning waste of sulfur and salt, unsown, producing nothing, with no plant growing on it, just like the fall of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the Lord demolished in his fierce anger.^(A)

²⁹ But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed^(A) them all.

¹⁰ he will also drink the wine of God’s wrath, which is poured full strength into the cup of his anger.^(A) He will be tormented with fire and sulfur^(B) in the sight of the holy angels and in the sight of the Lamb,

²⁰ But the beast was taken prisoner, and along with it the false prophet, who had performed the signs in its presence. He deceived those who accepted the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image with these signs.^(A) Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.^(B)

¹⁰ The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet are,^(A) and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.^(B)

⁸ But the cowards, faithless,^[a] detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars^(A)—their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur,^(B) which is the second death.”^(C)
