³³ Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba and called there on the name of the Lord, the Eternal God.

²³ Now he went up from there to Beersheba.

²⁴ And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will favor you with blessings and multiply your descendants for the sake of My servant Abraham.

²⁵ And [Isaac] ^[a]built an altar there and called on the name of the Lord and pitched his tent there; and there Isaac’s servants were digging a well.
