¹⁹ He called the name of that place ^(A)Bethel,^[a] but the name of the city was Luz at the first.

⁶ And Jacob came to ^(A)Luz (that is, Bethel), which is in the land of Canaan, he and all the people who were with him,

³ And Jacob said to Joseph, ^(A)“God Almighty^[a] appeared to me at ^(B)Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me,

¹³ From there the boundary passes along southwards in the direction of Luz, to the shoulder of ^(A)Luz (that is, Bethel), then the boundary goes down to ^(B)Ataroth-addar, on the mountain that lies south of Lower ^(C)Beth-horon.
