¹¹ The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.

Job's Three Friends

¹¹ Now when Job's three ^(A)friends heard of all this evil that had come upon him, they came each from his own place, Eliphaz ^(B)the Temanite, Bildad ^(C)the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. They made an appointment together to come to ^(D)show him sympathy and comfort him.

Judgement on Edom

⁷ Concerning ^(A)Edom.

Thus says the Lord of hosts:

²⁰ Therefore hear the plan that the Lord has made against ^(A)Edom and the purposes that he has formed against the inhabitants of ^(B)Teman: ^(C)Even the little ones of the flock shall be dragged away. Surely their fold shall be appalled at their fate.

¹³ therefore thus says the Lord God, ^(A)I will stretch out my hand against Edom and cut off from it man and beast. And I will make it desolate; from ^(B)Teman even to ^(C)Dedan they shall fall by the sword.
