^4 (A)Abel, on his part also brought an offering, from the firstborn of his flock and from their fat portions. And ^(B)the Lord had regard for Abel and his offering;

³⁵ so that upon you will fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous ^(A)Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the ^(B)son of Berechiah, whom ^(C)you murdered between the ^[a]temple and the altar.

¹² not as ^(A)Cain, who was of ^(B)the evil one and murdered his brother. And for what reason did he murder him? Because ^(C)his own deeds were evil, but his brother’s were righteous.
