¹¹ And Joseph situated his father and his brothers, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of ^(A)Rameses, ^(B)as Pharaoh had commanded.

¹¹ Therefore they set taskmasters over them ^(A)to afflict them with their ^(B)burdens. And they built for Pharaoh ^(C)supply cities, Pithom ^(D)and Raamses.

³ They ^(A)departed from Rameses in ^(B)the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out ^(C)with boldness in the sight of all the Egyptians.

⁴ For the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, ^(A)whom the Lord had killed among them. Also ^(B)on their gods the Lord had executed judgments.
