²⁴ But his bow remained steady,^(A)
    his strong arms^(B) stayed^[a] limber,
because of the hand of the Mighty One of Jacob,^(C)
    because of the Shepherd,^(D) the Rock of Israel,^(E)

²⁶ I will make your oppressors^(A) eat^(B) their own flesh;
    they will be drunk on their own blood,^(C) as with wine.
Then all mankind will know^(D)
    that I, the Lord, am your Savior,^(E)
    your Redeemer,^(F) the Mighty One of Jacob.^(G)”

    and be nursed^(A) at royal breasts.
