¹⁰ Then they came to the threshing floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan, and they ^(A)mourned there with a great and very solemn lamentation. ^(B)He observed seven days of mourning for his father.

¹⁴ you shall supply him liberally from your flock, from your threshing floor, and from your winepress. From what the Lord your God has ^(A)blessed you with, you shall give to him.

^37 (A)look, I shall put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor; if there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I shall know that You will save Israel by my hand, as You have said.”

³ Therefore wash yourself and ^(A)anoint yourself, put on your best garment and go down to the threshing floor; but do not make yourself known to the man until he has finished eating and drinking.

⁶ So she went down to the threshing floor and did according to all that her mother-in-law instructed her.

¹⁴ So she lay at his feet until morning, and she arose before one could recognize another. Then he said, ^(A)“Do not let it be known that the woman came to the threshing floor.”

David Saves the City of Keilah

23 Then they told David, saying, “Look, the Philistines are fighting against ^(A)Keilah, and they are robbing the threshing floors.”
