Habakkuk 1:6-8
New American Standard Bible
6 For behold, I am (A)raising up the Chaldeans,
That [a]grim and impetuous people
Who march [b]throughout the earth,
To (B)take possession of dwelling places that are not theirs.
7 They are terrifying and (C)feared;
Their (D)justice and [c]authority [d]originate with themselves.
8 Their (E)horses are faster than leopards,
And quicker than (F)wolves in the evening.
Their [e]horsemen charge along,
Their [f]horsemen come from afar;
They fly like an (G)eagle [g]swooping down to devour.
