Habakkuk 1:7-9

7 “They are dreaded and (A)feared;
Their (B)justice and [a]authority [b]originate with themselves.
8 “Their (C)horses are swifter than leopards
And [c]keener than (D)wolves in the evening.
Their [d]horsemen come galloping,
Their horsemen come from afar;
They fly like an (E)eagle swooping down to devour.
9 “All of them come for violence.
[e]Their horde of (F)faces moves forward.
They collect captives like sand.

they are a law to themselves
and promote their own honor.
8 Their horses are swifter(B) than leopards,
fiercer than wolves(C) at dusk.
Their cavalry gallops headlong;
their horsemen come from afar.
They fly like an eagle swooping to devour;
9 they all come intent on violence.
Their hordes[a] advance like a desert wind
and gather prisoners(D) like sand.
