10 Thou [a]hast consulted shame to thine own house, by destroying many people, and hast sinned against thine own soul.
11 For the [b]stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.
12 Woe unto him that buildeth a town with blood, and erecteth a city by iniquity.

10 You have plotted the ruin(A) of many peoples,
shaming(B) your own house and forfeiting your life.
11 The stones(C) of the wall will cry out,
and the beams of the woodwork will echo it.
12 “Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed(D)
and establishes a town by injustice!
