Good News Translation
14 (A)But the earth will be as full of the knowledge of the Lord's glory as the seas are full of water.
15 You are doomed! In your fury you humiliated and disgraced your neighbors; you made them stagger as though they were drunk. 16 You in turn will be covered with shame instead of honor. You yourself will drink and stagger. The Lord will make you drink your own cup of punishment, and your honor will be turned to disgrace.

14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory(A) of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.(B)
15 “Woe to him who gives drink(C) to his neighbors,
pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk,
so that he can gaze on their naked bodies!
16 You will be filled with shame(D) instead of glory.(E)
Now it is your turn! Drink(F) and let your nakedness be exposed[a]!(G)
The cup(H) from the Lord’s right hand is coming around to you,
and disgrace will cover your glory.
