²⁷but a terrifying expectation of ^(A)judgment and ^(B)the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries. ²⁸^(C)Anyone who has ignored the Law of Moses is put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. ²⁹^(D)How much more severe punishment do you think he will deserve ^(E)who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean ^(F)the blood of the covenant ^(G)by which he was sanctified, and has ^(H)insulted the Spirit of grace?

²⁷but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire^(A) that will consume the enemies of God. ²⁸Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.^(B) ²⁹How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God^(C) underfoot,^(D) who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant^(E) that sanctified them,^(F) and who has insulted the Spirit^(G) of grace?^(H)

²⁷But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

²⁸He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

²⁹Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
