“Vengeance is mine; I will repay,”
and again:
“The Lord will judge his people.”(A)
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.(B)
32 Remember the days past when, after you had been enlightened,[a] you endured a great contest of suffering.(C)
