Hebrews 11:12-14
Disciples’ Literal New Testament
12 Therefore indeed from one man— and he having become impotent as to these[a] things— were born[b] seed as the stars of heaven in number, and countless as the sand by the shore of the sea. 13 In accordance with faith, these[c] all died not having received the promises, but having seen them from a distance, and having greeted them, and having confessed that they are strangers and pilgrims[d] on the earth. 14 For the ones saying such things are making-clear that they are seeking-for a homeland.

New International Version
12 And so from this one man, and he as good as dead,(A) came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.(B)
13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised;(C) they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance,(D) admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth.(E) 14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own.
