21 It was by faith that, when Jacob was dying, he blessed the two sons of Joseph, and “worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.” 22 It was by faith that, when Joseph was coming to the end, he spoke about the exodus of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his own bones.

23 It was by faith that, when Moses was born, he was hidden for three months by his parents. They saw that the child was beautiful, and they weren’t afraid of the king’s orders.

New International Version
21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons,(A) and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.
22 By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions concerning the burial of his bones.(B)
23 By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born,(C) because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.(D)
