Hebrews 11:34-36

34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edges of the sword, were made powerful after being weak, became mighty in battle, and caused foreign armies to flee. 35 Women received back their dead by resurrection. And others who were tortured did not accept their release, so that they may take part in a better resurrection. 36 Still others experienced mocking and lashes, in addition to chains and imprisonment.

34 quenched the fury of the flames,(A) and escaped the edge of the sword;(B) whose weakness was turned to strength;(C) and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.(D) 35 Women received back their dead, raised to life again.(E) There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. 36 Some faced jeers and flogging,(F) and even chains and imprisonment.(G)
