Hebrews 12:11-13

11 Now all discipline seems painful at the time, not joyful.[a] But later it produces the fruit of peace and righteousness[b] for those trained by it. 12 Therefore, strengthen[c] your listless hands and your weak knees,[d] 13 and make straight paths for your feet,[e] so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but be healed.

New International Version
11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace(A) for those who have been trained by it.
12 Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.(B) 13 “Make level paths for your feet,”[a](C) so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.(D)
