Hebrews 12:11-13
New Testament for Everyone
11 No discipline seems to bring joy at the time, but only sorrow. Later, though, it produces fruit, the peaceful fruit of righteousness, for those who are trained by it.
Watch out for dangers!
12 So stop letting your hands go slack, and get some energy into your sagging knees! 13 Make straight paths for your feet. If you’re lame, make sure you get healed instead of being put out of joint.

New International Version
11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace(A) for those who have been trained by it.
12 Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.(B) 13 “Make level paths for your feet,”[a](C) so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.(D)
