Hebrews 12:19-21

19 and the sound of a trumpet, and a voice whose words made the hearers entreat that no further messages be spoken to them. 20 For they could not endure the order that was given, “If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned.” 21 Indeed, so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I tremble with fear.”

19 to a trumpet blast(A) or to such a voice speaking words(B) that those who heard it begged that no further word be spoken to them,(C) 20 because they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death.”[a](D) 21 The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, “I am trembling with fear.”[b](E)
