26 And (A)His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “(B)Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” 27 Now this expression, “Yet once more,” indicates (C)the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we are receiving a (D)kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us [a]show gratitude, by which we may (E)offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;

26 At that time his voice shook the earth,(A) but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”[a](B) 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken(C)—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken,(D) let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,(E)
