28 Therefore while receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us have gratitude, through which we may worship[a] God pleasingly[b], with reverence and awe. 29 For indeed our God is a consuming fire.

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken,(A) let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,(B) 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”[a](C)
