Hebrews 13:3-5

Good News Translation

³Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them. Remember those who are suffering, as though you were suffering as they are.

⁴^(A)Marriage is to be honored by all, and husbands and wives must be faithful to each other. God will judge those who are immoral and those who commit adultery.

⁵^(B)Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never leave you; I will never abandon you.”

³Continue to remember those in prison^(A) as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

⁴Marriage should be honored by all,^(B) and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.^(C) ⁵Keep your lives free from the love of money^(D) and be content with what you have,^(E) because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”^[a]^(F)
