Hebrews 3:1-3 American Standard Version (ASV)

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, even Jesus; who was faithful to him that [a]appointed him, as also was Moses in all [b]his house. For he hath been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by so much as he that [c]built the house hath more honor than the house.

Hebrews 3:1-3 New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Greater Than Moses

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest. He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God’s house. Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself.
