Every house is built by someone, but God built everything. Moses was faithful as a servant in God’s whole house. He told people what God would say in the future. But Christ is faithful in ruling God’s house as the Son. And we are God’s house, if we remain confident of the great hope we are glad to say we have.

For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.(A) “Moses was faithful as a servant(B) in all God’s house,”[a](C) bearing witness to what would be spoken by God in the future. But Christ is faithful as the Son(D) over God’s house. And we are his house,(E) if indeed we hold firmly(F) to our confidence and the hope(G) in which we glory.
