8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God[a] would not have spoken afterward about another day. 9 Consequently a Sabbath rest remains for the people of God. 10 For the one who enters God’s[b] rest has also rested from his works, just as God did from his own works.

8 For if Joshua had given them rest,(A) God would not have spoken(B) later about another day. 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works,[a](C) just as God did from his.(D)
