Hebrews 6:7-9
Amplified Bible
7 For soil that drinks the rain which often falls on it and produces crops useful to those for whose benefit it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God; 8 but if it persistently produces thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned.(A)
Better Things for You
9 But, beloved, even though we speak to you in this way, [a]we are convinced of better things concerning you, and of things that accompany salvation.

New International Version
7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. 8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed.(A) In the end it will be burned.
9 Even though we speak like this, dear friends,(B) we are convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation.
