Hebrews 8:6-8
Good News Translation
6 But now, Jesus has been given priestly work which is superior to theirs, just as the covenant which he arranged between God and his people is a better one, because it is based on promises of better things.
7 If there had been nothing wrong with the first covenant, there would have been no need for a second one. 8 (A)But God finds fault with his people when he says,
“The days are coming, says the Lord,
when I will draw up a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.
Hebrews 8:6-8
New International Version
6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant(A) of which he is mediator(B) is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.
7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.(C) 8 But God found fault with the people and said[a]:
“The days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant(D)
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
