4 having a golden [a]altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein [b]was a golden pot holding the manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; 5 and above it cherubim of glory overshadowing [c]the mercy-seat; of which things we cannot now speak severally. 6 Now these things having been thus prepared, the priests go in continually into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the services;

4 which had the golden altar of incense(A) and the gold-covered ark of the covenant.(B) This ark contained the gold jar of manna,(C) Aaron’s staff that had budded,(D) and the stone tablets of the covenant.(E) 5 Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory,(F) overshadowing the atonement cover.(G) But we cannot discuss these things in detail now.
6 When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly(H) into the outer room to carry on their ministry.
