4 which had a golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, in which was the golden urn that had the manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the testament,
5 and over it the cherubim of glory shadowing the seat of reconciliation, of which we cannot now speak particularly.
6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

4 which had the golden altar of incense(A) and the gold-covered ark of the covenant.(B) This ark contained the gold jar of manna,(C) Aaron’s staff that had budded,(D) and the stone tablets of the covenant.(E) 5 Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory,(F) overshadowing the atonement cover.(G) But we cannot discuss these things in detail now.
6 When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly(H) into the outer room to carry on their ministry.
