7 “The more of you priests there are, the more you sin against me, and so I will turn your honor into disgrace. 8 You grow rich from the sins of my people, and so you want them to sin more and more. 9 You will suffer the same punishment as the people! I will punish you and make you pay for the evil you do.

Hosea 4:7-9
New International Version
7 The more priests there were,
the more they sinned against me;
they exchanged their glorious God[a](A) for something disgraceful.(B)
8 They feed on the sins of my people
and relish their wickedness.(C)
9 And it will be: Like people, like priests.(D)
I will punish both of them for their ways
and repay them for their deeds.(E)
