6 For (A)I [a]desire loyalty (B)rather than sacrifice,
And the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
7 But (C)like [b]Adam they have (D)violated the covenant;
There they have (E)dealt treacherously with Me.
8 (F)Gilead is a city of wrongdoers,
Tracked with (G)bloody footprints.
