Surely He has borne our griefs[a]
    and carried our pains.
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
    struck by God, and afflicted.
But He was pierced[b] because of our transgressions,
crushed because of our iniquities.
The chastisement for our shalom was upon Him,
and by His stripes we are healed.

We all like sheep have gone astray.
Each of us turned to his own way.
So Adonai has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
