Isaiah 1:25-27
Living Bible

25 I myself will melt you in a smelting pot and skim off your slag.

26 And afterwards I will give you good judges and wise counselors like those you used to have. Then your city shall again be called “The City of Justice” and “The Faithful Town.”

27 Those who return to the Lord, who are just and good, shall be redeemed.

25 I will turn my hand against you;[a](A)
    I will thoroughly purge(B) away your dross(C)
    and remove all your impurities.(D)
26 I will restore your leaders as in days of old,(E)
    your rulers as at the beginning.
Afterward you will be called(F)
    the City of Righteousness,(G)
    the Faithful City.(H)”

27 Zion will be delivered with justice,
    her penitent(I) ones with righteousness.(J)
