⁸So the daughter of Zion is left ^(A)as a ^[a]booth in a vineyard,
As a hut in a garden of cucumbers,
^(B)As a besieged city.

⁸Daughter Zion^(A) is left^(B)
like a shelter in a vineyard,
like a hut^(C) in a cucumber field,
like a city under siege.

¹³He burned the house of the Lord and the king’s house; all the houses of Jerusalem, that is, all the houses of the great, he burned with fire.

¹³He set fire^(A) to the temple^(B) of the Lord, the royal palace and all the houses^(C) of Jerusalem. Every important building he burned down.
