10 For the (A)stars of heaven and their constellations
Will not flash their light;
The (B)sun will be dark when it rises
And the moon will not shed its light.
11 So I will (C)punish the world for its evil
And the (D)wicked for their wrongdoing;
I will also put an end to the (E)audacity of the proud
And humiliate the (F)arrogance of the [a](G)tyrants.
12 I will make mortal man (H)scarcer than pure gold
And mankind than the (I)gold of Ophir.

11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
