¹⁹And ^(A)Babylon, the ^(B)beauty of kingdoms, the glory of the Chaldeans’ pride,
Will be as when God ^(C)overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

¹⁹Babylon,^(A) the jewel of kingdoms,^(B)
the pride and glory^(C) of the Babylonians,^[a]
will be overthrown^(D) by God
like Sodom and Gomorrah.^(E)

³⁷You, O king, are the ^(A)king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the ^[a]kingdom, the ^(B)power, the strength, and the honor;

³⁷Your Majesty, you are the king of kings.^(A) The God of heaven has given you dominion^(B) and power and might and glory;
