And the poor will lie down in security;
I will kill your root with (B)famine,
And it will kill your survivors.
31 Wail, you (C)gate; cry, you city;
[b]Melt away, (D)Philistia, all of you!
For smoke comes from the (E)north,
And (F)there is no straggler in his ranks.
32 What answer will one give the (G)messengers of the nation?
That (H)the Lord has founded Zion,
And (I)the poor of His people will take refuge in it.”
