³² What answer will one give the ^(A)messengers of the nation?
That ^(B)the Lord has founded Zion,
And ^(C)the poor of His people will take refuge in it.”

⁷ The Lord is ^(A)good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble,
And ^(B)He knows those who take refuge in Him.

⁸ And it will come about in all the land,”
Declares the Lord,
“That ^(A)two parts in it will be cut off and perish;
But the third will be left in it.
⁹ And I will bring the third part through the ^(B)fire,
Refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
They will ^(C)call on My name,
And I will ^(D)answer them;
I will say, ‘They are ^(E)My people,’
And they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”
