16 On that day the Egyptians shall be like women, trembling with fear, because of the Lord of hosts shaking his fist at them.(A) 17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror to the Egyptians. Every time they think of Judah, they shall stand in dread because of the plan the Lord of hosts has in mind for them.

18 On that day there shall be five cities[a] in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan and swear by the Lord of hosts; one shall be called “City of the Sun.”

16 In that day(A) the Egyptians will become weaklings.(B) They will shudder with fear(C) at the uplifted hand(D) that the Lord Almighty raises against them. 17 And the land of Judah will bring terror to the Egyptians; everyone to whom Judah is mentioned will be terrified,(E) because of what the Lord Almighty is planning(F) against them.

18 In that day(G) five cities(H) in Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance(I) to the Lord Almighty. One of them will be called the City of the Sun.[a](J)
