¹⁷ The land of Judah will become a ^[a]terror to Egypt; everyone ^[b]to whom it is mentioned will be in dread of it, because of the ^(A)purpose of the Lord of hosts which He is purposing against them.

⁹ “I will also ^(A)trouble the hearts of many peoples when I ^(B)bring your destruction among the nations, into lands which you have not known. ¹⁰ I will make many peoples ^(C)appalled at you, and their kings will be horribly afraid of you when I brandish My sword before them; and ^(D)they will tremble every moment, every man for his own life, on the day of your fall.”
