²¹ to enter the caverns of the rocks
    and the clefts in the crags,
from the terror of the Lord
    and from the glory of his majesty,
    when he rises to terrify the earth.^(A)

² The Lord God has sworn by his holiness:
    The time is surely coming upon you
when they shall take you away with hooks,
    even the last of you with fishhooks.^(A)

² The faithful have disappeared from the land,
    and there is no one left who is upright;
they all lie in wait for blood,
    and they hunt each other with nets.^(A)

    like crawling things that have no ruler.^(A)
