English Standard Version Anglicised
4 Therefore I said:
“Look away from me;
(A)let me weep bitter tears;
do not labour to comfort me
concerning the destruction of the daughter of my people.”
5 (B)For the Lord God of hosts has (C)a day
of tumult and (D)trampling and (E)confusion
in (F)the valley of vision,
a battering down of walls
and a shouting to the mountains.
6 And (G)Elam bore the quiver
with chariots and horsemen,
and (H)Kir uncovered the shield.
