Isaiah 25:4-6
New American Standard Bible
4 For You have been a (A)stronghold for the helpless,
A stronghold for the poor in his distress,
A (B)refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat;
For the breath of the (C)ruthless
Is like a rain storm against a wall.
5 Like heat in a dry land, You subdue the (D)uproar of foreigners;
Like heat by the shadow of a cloud, the song of the ruthless is [a]silenced.
6 (E)Now the Lord of armies will prepare a [b]lavish banquet for (F)all peoples on this mountain;
A banquet of [c]aged wine, [d]choice pieces with marrow,
And [e]refined, aged wine.

New International Version
4 You have been a refuge(A) for the poor,(B)
a refuge for the needy(C) in their distress,
a shelter from the storm(D)
and a shade from the heat.
For the breath of the ruthless(E)
is like a storm driving against a wall
5 and like the heat of the desert.
You silence(F) the uproar of foreigners;(G)
as heat is reduced by the shadow of a cloud,
so the song of the ruthless(H) is stilled.
