¹⁴ Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise ^(A)partook of the same things, that ^(B)through death he might ^(C)destroy ^(D)the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, ¹⁵ and deliver all those who ^(E)through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.

¹⁴ Then ^(A)Death and Hades ^(B)were thrown into the lake of fire. This is ^(C)the second death, the lake of fire.
